Dr. MacLaren, a renowned scientist, developed HU2340, an artificially created superheavy element with an atomic weight greater than 200. The element was used by SG-1 to correct the red shift of the K'tau sun. Hammond will recommend that the proposed name for the new element be "maclarium."
